biography

Eyal Eithcowich began as a sports writer and editor for Israel's largest daily newspaper, "Yedioth Aharonot." He also worked as a U.S. Sports Correspondent as well as editor of Yedioth's local New York magazine. He studied film and screenwriting at New York University and Practicing Bitterness was his first film. He has since made another film, Enraged in 2006, a documentary about young, radical Israeli activists, who struggle side by side with the Palestinians against the occupation. He is presently working on a 30-minute fiction film, Holding Hands in the Dark, a love story between a sensitive boy whose mother is dying and an activist for animal rights.
